For legal practices

Files that move themselves forward.

For small Australian businesses and sole practitioners whose matters stall on intake, document handling, and the follow-up nobody has time to send.

The shape of the problem

01

Intake before the matter starts

Client details collected by email, re-typed into the practice system, then typed again into the cost agreement.

02

Document-heavy matters

Correspondence and discovery filed by hand — or not filed at all until someone has a quiet afternoon.

03

Chasing signatures and undertakings

The file is ready; the follow-up email is not. Matters wait on politeness nobody has time to type.

04

The unanswered enquiry

A prospective client emails two businesses. The one that answers first, in office hours or not, usually gets the matter.

Illustrative example

If opening a matter means typing the same client details into three places, and each place takes ten minutes, a single intake that populates all three returns that half hour on every new matter. Your numbers will differ — the Assessment measures them against your actual files.

How we’d start

The Assessment: about a week, one fixed fee credited toward implementation, and a clear plan — or your fee back. How it works →

Is this appropriate given our professional obligations?

The design principle is that AI drafts and a practitioner approves. Nothing leaves the business without a named person signing it off, and the audit trail of what was drafted, edited and sent is part of the build.

What about privilege and confidentiality?

Your matter data stays in your systems, on Australian-region infrastructure by default, and is never used to train models. We are happy to work under NDA and to walk your PII handling through with you before anything runs.

Our practice management system is old. Does that rule this out?

Rarely. Email and documents are the fallback channels, and they are usually where the pain is anyway. The Assessment tells you honestly what is and is not connectable.

What should we automate first?

For most businesses: intake or the follow-up chase. Both are high-volume, low-judgement, and easy to supervise — the right shape for a first system.

Start with the workflow that hurts most.
