The Assessment

Find what’s actually slowing you down.

A practical, plain-English review of your business — in about a week — that shows exactly where better process, better systems, automation and AI are worth it, where they aren’t, and what to do first.

Book the Assessment call

Not ready for this? Start with the free audit — you answer a few questions, we send a report within 48 hours, and there’s no call and no cost. The Assessment is the paid step after it: a week of our time, fixed fee, credited in full toward implementation if you go ahead.

What you get

Five clear deliverables — no jargon, no 200-page deck.

Opportunity Map

Where better process, better systems, automation and AI can each help — ranked by value vs effort, in plain English.

Top 3 quick wins

The three highest-impact opportunities, with an estimate of the time and money each could save.

Your first automation

A concrete recommendation for the first thing to automate — and how it would work for you.

Costed roadmap

A clear, costed plan to implement — so you know exactly what it takes and what it returns.

Live readout

A plain-English walkthrough of the findings, with time for your questions.

Built for businesses like yours. Honestly, not for everyone.

A good fit

  • Owner-led Australian businesses, roughly 5–50 people
  • Work that runs on admin: onboarding, inboxes, documents, chasing, reporting
  • Systems that don’t talk to each other, so people re-key between them
  • A decision-maker who can give us two calls in the week

Not a fit

  • Enterprises wanting a big-four strategy deck
  • Teams looking to outsource the thinking entirely
  • Anyone expecting a silver bullet — we recommend against AI where it doesn’t earn its place

The week, day by day

Your total time investment is two calls and a little email — we do the rest.

  1. Day 1

    Kickoff call

A working session on how work actually moves through your business — not how the org chart says it does.

  2. Days 2–3

    We map your workflows

We chart the real flow of work and mark every handoff, re-key and wait. You keep working; we mostly stay out of your way.

  3. Day 4

    Review & scoring

Each opportunity is scored on value against effort — including the ones where our honest advice is “don’t automate this”.

  4. Day 5

    Roadmap drafted

The Opportunity Map, top three quick wins, your first automation specified, and the costed plan are written up.

  5. End of week

    Live readout

A plain-English walkthrough of everything, with time for questions. You keep the documents either way.

Fixed fee
One transparent price
  • One fixed fee, agreed up front — no surprises
  • Credited in full toward implementation if you go ahead
  • A clear, actionable plan — or your fee back
Safe, governed AI — your data stays yours.
Questions

Before you book

The questions businesses ask us most, answered straight. All questions →

How much of our time does the Assessment take?

For most businesses: two calls and a little email. A kickoff call to understand how work flows today, and a live readout at the end of the week. We do the mapping, scoring and roadmap work in between.

What access do you need?

Less than you might expect. We work from walkthroughs of how work actually happens, read-only looks at the tools you already use, and whatever you are comfortable sharing. NDAs are welcome, and we never need administrative control of your systems to run an Assessment.

What if we already use AI?

Even better. We look at where it is genuinely earning its place, where a plain workflow automation would beat a chatbot, and where the gaps are. The Assessment is about the workflow, not the tool — existing AI use just gives us more to work with.

What happens after the Assessment?

You own the roadmap — you can implement it with us, with your own people, or with anyone else. If you do proceed with us, the Assessment fee is credited in full toward the implementation.

Why is there a money-back guarantee?

Because a new advisory has to earn trust rather than assume it. If the readout does not give you a clear, actionable plan, you get your fee back — that keeps the risk of trying us on our side of the table, where it belongs.
